Board of Directors

The GJCC Board of directors meets the first Monday of each month at 6PM at the Community Center, 107 N Main Street, Jefferson. Meetings are open to the public, and we welcome public attendance. As a Board, we have one remaining vacancy we wish to fill. If you would like to be considered for this role in supporting the GJCC, please complete this fillable application and mail, email or deliver it to the Greater Jefferson Community Center. 

Volunteer Team

The GJCC team of volunteers is vital to the operations of the Center. We rely heavily on input from the Advisory Team, made up in large part by the vary volunteers who keep things going. You can commit to as little or as much as you want. Serve two hours a month or 20 hours a month. We have openings for volunteer receptionists (four hours per week), or we would also love to have maintenance and upkeep on the Center. Just let us know what skills and talents you wish to share, we'll get you plugged in! All you have to do is complete this fillable form and deliver, send or email it to the Center: 107 N Main Street, Jefferson, OR 97352.

The Greater Jefferson Community Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity that has proudly served the residents of Jefferson and the surrounding area for over 20 years. The Center provides a vital space for local families, seniors, youth programs, and community events; and, in a rural community like ours where resources are often limited, the Center is more than just a building. It's “the Community Gathering Place”.
It's no secret that community supported non-profit organizations rely on donations, not only to exist, but to thrive. Donations to the GJCC are tax deductible and, because we are entirely volunteer-run, 100% of your contribution will go directly toward maintaining the day-to-day operation of the Center: keeping the lights on, funding programs, and ensuring that we can continue to serve the needs of those who rely on us.

Supporting us through recurring donations can be achieved through automatic bank withdrawals, just call or email us for a form. By using PayPal, you can make a onetime donation or set up recurring donations. ​Cans and bottles are gratefully accepted at the Greater Jefferson Community Center for recycling year-round. A large bin is available for this purpose along Union Street, near the Center’s gravel parking area.
